As a cosmetologist/hairstylist for over 10 years, I learned from my experiences that many of the products I was using on my hair were full of harsh chemicals that were not only stripping it of its natural oils and beauty but also causing further damage to my precious strands until there was nothing left. Devastated about how I was treating my hair, I decided to love & embrace my hair in its natural state. I believe this is way God intended it to be as he does not make mistakes. Most of the damage done to our hair comes from what we do to it, instead of how it naturally is.

During my natural hair journey, I became more aware of what I was using on my body and as a result, began to searching for products that were natural-based with properties beneficial to my skin + hair. After months of experimenting and spending countless amounts of money I found very few that  only satisfied some of my body care needs. This alone was not enough. So, I began researching day in and out, how to make my own body care products. Marveled at all of the wonderful information I was obtaining from internet forums to magazine articles and finally books. My creativity began to blossom, I knew was on to something.

 I started creating body butters, lotions, lip balms, hair pomades and  finally, soap. I fell so deeply in love with the art of soapmaking, I began  making too much!  I started giving them away to neighbors, family members and friends, until it became clear that I needed  to turn my new found  passion into a small business and Love Me Pure was born.

Here at Love Me Pure, we are just as passionate about the quality of our ingredients as we are about crafting soaps and body luxuries. We strive to use only the finest ingredients such as cold-pressed vegetable oils, organic herbs + botanicals, exotic butters and 100% pure steam distilled essential oils.  Our soaps are made in small batches to ensure freshness and sustainability.
