Love Me Pure Soaps | Hand Made Soaps and Shampoos

Ingredients

We make all of our soaps in small batches using the “Cold Process” method, combining vegetable oils and butters, sodium hydroxide (lye) and purified water. We also add pure-quality essential oils, herbs, and other ingredients (such as herbs/ cocoa butter) to enhance the unique skin benefits of each bar. We then cut each bar by hand and allow them to air dry (cure) for 4-6 weeks to ensure gentle quality. Once they are cured and tested (on humans only of course) they are hand wrapped individually with our recyclable cigar label.

Ingredients

Olive Oil- (olea europaea) has been used for decades and is widely recognized as the age old “king” of soap making. It is a mono-unsaturated vegetable oil. We love it for it’s emollient and conditioning qualities.

Hemp Seed Oil - (cannabis sativa) -Highly prized and increasingly popular in today’s cosmetics, hemp seed oil contains a high amount of essential fatty acids. It, imparts lovely conditioning qualities to our shampoo bars.

Shea Butter -(butyrospermum parkii)- comes from the fruit of a karate’ tree that grows in tropical Africa. It is used as a popular ingredient in today finest body creams and lotions. We use it in our soaps to impart wonderful skin softening and healing properties. Most cosmetics contain “refined shea butter which has been bleached and deodorized removing most of the natural healing properties. We use “ raw unrefined “ shea butter which contains all of it’s healing properties and nutrients to ensure the best quality.

Cocoa Butter -(theobroma cacao)- cocoa butter contains natural antioxidants and is rich with Vitamin E which helps soothe, hydrate, and balance the skin. For centuries women have been using this butter to prevent and treat stretch marks as it easily absorbs into the skin while its moisturizing effects prevent dry skin. We absolutely love this butter!

Neem Oil- ( Azadirachta indica)- this antibacterial oil is extracted from the tree endemic to India treasured and extensively used for traditional Ayurvedic medicine. It is also used to deter insects including, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

Virgin Coconut Cream Oil- (cocos nucifera)- ours is 100% organic and obtained from freshly harvested coconut meat it smells of fresh coconut and serves as an excellent luxury ingredient in our soaps.
